I am not much on taking pictures of flowers but since not many images were posted today I figured I would throw one out here. manual exp. 117mm = 35mm equiv F2.8 spot metering Attachments:

I love the colors!! I've noticed a lot of blooming trees and bushes here in the last few days. I keep forgetting that there are still plants that bloom in the fall when the weather changes.

yeah there are a few different colors here in our little U shaped drive. I am always looking for bigger stuff to shoot and have never really been a planted flower type myself. I always tend to go for the big flower covered meadows. I only really caught these because I was trying to learn my 70-200's capabilities.

Those are nice and colors are good, John... It's funny but flowers and gardening got me interested in photography-but I don't shoot them a whole lot, I even got a macros lens for it...

well thank you guys. I still have yet to buy a dedicated macro lens but some lenses do a decent job of it.
