Not a quality shot, but keeping up with an Aussie Shepherd puppy isn't easy. My sister's new dog. Attachments:

The pup eagerly ran up to me, but then thought something was wrong when I was on the ground. Very wrong. Barking would help. She decided the camera was evil. Probably a Canon dog. Attachments:

A distracted moment. Pups this age have attention spans that can be measured in microseconds. Her left front leg has some bald spots due to IVs. She recently survived a bout with parvo virus. Attachments:

Cute puppy! I like #3 the best.
Several years ago we used to dog-sit an aussie shepard that belonged to my wife's coworker. This guy was big but gentle as a lamb and you could tell he was really spoiled at home as he'd jump up onto the bed and get comfortable. Once, I was napping on the couch and he climbed up and laid down right on top of me. (he was almost my same size! LOL)

Even at ISO 300 or so, I was running shutter at 1/80. It was pure luck that any of the shots worked at all.
This pup's smart. In the space of 24 hours, she's learned to sit, lie down and shake hands on command.
