I've been looking for a high school male to add to my high school senior portrait advertisements. This kid assisted on Sunday's Biker Babe shoot; his dad is the biker who posed with the models on his motorcycle. Posing a young man against a hot car or a motorcycle should get the students' attention. This image will be used with two existing images of girls. The girls love being models, but the guys generally hate the idea of posing in nice clothes. The kid had the choice of several motorcycles his family owns. We went with his mom's silver bike because it's shinier and would provide a lighter background for the dark-haired kid in a black leather jacket. Postprocessing included a lot of dodging (lightening) the reflections on the chrome and the glint of light on the leather. Oh... One complication: I had him sitting on the gravel and sitting back against the bike. His back was on the hot muffler. We had to stop every few shots to make sure the muffler wasn't burning his jacket. Attachments:

Pretty nice image Bob, almost to bad the reflection on chrome does not show the open road or something else kinda neat. I am trying to work out a deal on a fancy mustang and a male model but no dice yet.

Hey, I was working hard enough to keep myself and the monolight with umbrellla out of the reflection!
I could probably Photoshop in a country road scene onto that chrome plate, but this image is primarily going to be one-third of an ad the size of two business cards. I may try something like that for an 8"x10" print.
Actually, that reflection is of an open road. It's just running parallel to the bike.

This is a great photo, and will certainly be a good addition to this series. The reflection on the chrome might be fun to play with. Maybe some sky/clouds from one of the other photos. (?)

Hahaha I ran into that issue with a mirror a while back. It is tough to think of everything sometimes. The gravel road would have been cool running off into the distance. If you use this in your port, which I can't see why you wouldn't, you might try shoppin in a diferent reflection. Anyways man nice job with the image itself. Happy turkey day.
