When we opened our photo lab 13 years ago there were days with nothing to do. So, sitting there with a camera, fridge full of film and $150,000.00 of automated processing equipment you find something to do. I took pictures. ;D My wife came across this one while cleaning out the storeroom. Attachments:

Have you thought about posting that image on a stock photo website?

Yes, this would make a good stock image.

Two months ago I decided to try, so I checked 3-4 Stock Image banks. Most had requirements that my images did not fit. Digital image size too small, film images had to be scanned with specific scanners, some give lists of what they are accepting (content), etc. Shutter Stock is the only one I qualified for so I tried it. Their rule #1 is, if 7 out of 10 are rejected you are banned for 30 days. Of my 10 submitted, 7of 10 were rejected for: white balance incorrect, no commercial value, copyright infringement (fisherman in a boat. they said the brand of boat may be recognizable),composition didn't allow for ad copy. So I was banned for 30 days. Never went back to try more. It seems like too much work for .25 an image, if it's used.
I forgot, one picture was a couple holding hands walking down a trail away from me. It was a sunny day. It was rejected for "uneven lighting". I think the "reviewer" was just having a bad day.
