Mark, these came out really well. The lighting is very soft and subtle, and almost undetectable.

The only problem that really needs fixing is the electrical socket on the wall in the background of the first group picture.

Now that you've invested in studio lights, Mark, the next step is getting and learning Photoshop or Lightroom. It will make the difference between pictures that are just good enough for an easily-pleased customer and pictures you can really show the world.
It can allow you to further minimize the minor flaws in the lighting. It can also allow you to take out major stuff like the electrical wall socket. That's all stuff that can be fixed in a minute or two.
It can also save your shoot if you've got multiple shots of the group but in no one shot does everyone have their eyes open. You can graft a person's eyes from one shot into one where the eyes are shut. It could mean the difference between not having sellable shots and making the sale.

Thanks Flop!
Bob: I shot these images in Raw and converted them with Lightroom. Some images required a little exposure tweaking. I did not consider cloning out that electrical outlet though, I will have to see if I can manage that.
I've never found the knack for using Photoshop Elements so I have not stepped up to the full Photoshop. Maybe that will be something to work on this winter. I just joined Kelby Training (using their holiday discount) perhaps they have a course or two that will be of some help with my education in this area! I'll have to look into that.
I have had 2 sales from Sunday's session. Nothing big but a sale of any sort is always encouraging. So far I've only had 1 sale from the awards dinner I covered Saturday but it was enough to cover my expenses for the shoot. So that is always nice.
Thanks to everyone for the assistance and kind words!!

If you've already got Lightroom, you won't need Photoshop CS for your editing. Both packages edit, both packages allow pro workflow management. Lightroom's stronger for workflow. CS is better for elaborate editing. But there's no need to spend another $600-800 on CS to clone out junk.

I did find a course on Elements I can take, as there are times in Lightroom where I'd like to touch up something and you can invoke an editor while in LR. Maybe this will help me with my problem (I think its a learning disorder!). So I will add this to my list of things to do. There are a couple of lighting courses I want to take first.
