Lets go ahead and get this week's post up and started. I haven't had a chance to get out with my camera just yet so I don't have anything to post.
I like the idea of trying for a color theme. Lets go with orange this week. Its a nice fall color, and should be pretty easy to incorporate.

Rocky Runoff There is a slight bit of orange tint in the water coming from the mineral deposits and sediment.

looks like lightning in the rocks! I's got to find a fall! That's exactly what I thought too. It's shape resembles a bolt of lightning coming down through the rocks.

Beautiful shot, Juanita! The sharpness of the image and the orange in the water's reflection are amazing.

took this last night thought it was kinda cool as far as the leaning tree and the branches staying just off the ground. not much to the image though. what is weird to me was this was a 13 second exposure and it turned out this bright after Auto adjust from raw. I though for sure it would be darker. Attachments:

Juanita - Gorgeous shot. I just spent the whole weekend looking for something similar along the northern coast of Michigan's "thumb" and failed miserably. No color to find!!

Greg (NCPhotoTrekker) -
Neat shot. Did you have a neutral density filter to let you get the long exposure on the water?
