There is no activity at all on this board.....except for Flemmings pictures. Is anyone still here?

That is a quick visit I bet. Its like everyone has just dropped off the face of the forum. Admittedly, I went on a little hiatus for a while....but I don't remember anyone wanting to follow me.

I check in once in a while but i have not posted in a while. Almost easier to have a set up on FB where most every one is. whats really funny is I checked out the old board yesterday from my phone and it is almost dead there as well. Hard to get more member when there are so many forums out there. although the few i have visited where not very friendly like this one.

Yeah, it does not take long to check out the forum! I just click on the latest post link and usually see the same posts as the last time I checked.
The older forums I frequent, like POTN and Dgrin, still seem to be going strong but they both have specific members (members that own Canon cameras or are Smugmug users).
I'd say that Facebook/MySpace probably does cut down on some peoples forum surfing. I just use FB to market my events, so I don't spend a lot of time on it. About 5 to 10 minutes a day.
My forum time is generally focused on those forums that let me subscribe to specific topics. That way I get a daily email listing all the new threads in that section and I can decide what to go read. Saves a lot of time.
I do roughly the same thing for the blogs I follow.
How does everyone else spend their internet time?

I'm spending more time on facebook than I really want. I was pushed into doing it, and now I trying to get a feel for how I can best use it to market things. I spend time on this forum, as well as the old Photographyboard from work since our surf control doesn't block them. At home I focus on my website and blog mostly.
I think that this forum just never got established, and the content wasn't strong enough to attract new members. Its a real shame because there are some great people here. We just started going to a picture posting site with limited information.
