We have a local air market and where I do a lot of purchases at a certain spot-I scannned the walls of his spot to see what I was missing, something I hadn't done before-I spotted an Argus 40...he says it was his mother's. has the flash and instruction manual, It obviously was taken care of well! I am so ready to buy it-$10. Cool looking piece of equipment...I searched the internet for film-$12+ for a roll of film then next thought how do I get it processed? I guess it would be more of a novelty but-then I wonder if I could shoot film based on learning from a digital as in exposures and f#'s without the assurance of a playback screen-Hmmm....if not anything it sure would be cool for it to be the first purchase of a collection!!! Argus 40

That's cool! $10 is actually a really good price if it works. 620 film is out of circulation, but you can re-roll it from 120 which is still available. If you shoot in color film, you should still be able to find a lab that will process it for you. Or, if you shoot in B&W you can develop it yourself.

I have an Argus C3, but it takes 35mm film.
