Great results here! I have a book called Camera Creative that has a chapter dedicated to making your own beauty dish out of regular household supplies. I don't know how it compares to yours, but for those wanting to experiment with what can be done with the dish, its worth checking out.

I considered that Greg but I figure it would end up like a lot of my DIY projects - unfinished! Here is a shot from last night: Here is the setup diagram: This light will work well on location for me I think. In the studio it will be fine for one person shots. I metered it last night to see how wide the light was before it dropped off and at six feet it was pretty constant for 36 inches. Then is dropped off a stop. If you have Alien Bees or White Lightnings this is a fairly inexpensive modifier that has plenty of uses.
