This is an image I took last winter and posted on "another" board long ago. Nicole is a young model who's participating in the Miss Teen California pageant this year. Lots of fun to work with. This was near the end of a long shoot and I wanted to try taking advantage of a strange mirror we'd been working to avoid. It's a stairstepped series of beveled mirror panels. I wanted to get a shot of Nicole looking at the camera in the reflection. Problem: The beveled panels tore her reflection apart. It took some heavy editing in Photoshop to make her reflection acceptable. When I find the original version I'll see about posting a before and after. Attachments:

Mirror portraits are a neat trick. I actually used this same technique with a DJ group that I shot earlier this year. There is nothing like saying...Of course I got your best side, I got both of them right here!
This one turned out pretty well, but I can see what you are talking about with the gutter and bevel in the mirror. That was a hard shot to work out, but I think you did very respectable with it considering the mirror.

Nice. It would look good with or without the mirror. Good pose, good lighting!
