ok searching through adorama and I found this thingy. now the first thing I thought of is shooting a rifle. not sure how well this would work though cause sighting through a scope is diferent than looking through a lense. anyone with experience with a gadget like this? Attachments:

The first question that came to my mind was, Does this rig allow quick adjustments to aperture and shutter speed?
When I handhold my Nikon, I've got shutter speed adjustment at my thumb and aperture adjustment at my middle finger (and the shutter button at my index finger). Zoom and AF/manual-focus switch are both available to my left hand.
I'd hate to give up that kind of control just for a steadier handhold, when full control is available with a much steadier monopod.
Looks cool, though.

yeah I kinda thought it looked cool. if not a little cumbersome. I usually shoot full manual anymore anyways and I do not see any type of switching for ap/sh so beside not being able to see out the view finder. this would plain not work for me

Pretty cool, but probably not really practicle for most applications. I could see though, it being handy to have while riding in the back of a jeep chasing a gazelle, or in a boat shooting whales. (?)
